About The Hiring Code

Hi, I’m Kelly.

For over 12 years, I’ve worked in People and Talent roles at some of the world’s most respected companies, including Google and Stripe organisations known for their thoughtful, high-performing hiring practices. My experience spans designing global hiring workflows, enabling large in-house recruitment teams, and leading high-volume hiring across business and engineering functions.

I created The Hiring Code to make those same principles and systems accessible to small teams and mission-led organisations, particularly, the ones doing important work but without the luxury of a full-time People team. I believe hiring should be structured, fair, and human especially in challenging markets where candidates deserve clarity and care more than ever, and where the right process can unlock talent from all backgrounds.

My goal is simple: to help growing teams hire with confidence, reduce reliance on external recruiters, and build a strong foundation for their people and culture from day one.”
